Will an eSIM work on my phone?
Two things need to be true: your phone has an eSIM chip, and it's not locked to a carrier. Here's how to check both.
Device checker
The 10-second universal test
Open your phone app and dial *#06#. A screen appears with your IMEI numbers. If there's also an EID (a 32-digit number), your phone has an eSIM.
Is it unlocked?
Phones bought outright are unlocked. Phones from an Irish operator on contract may be locked for the contract period. iPhone: Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock should say "No SIM restrictions". Android: Settings → About phone → SIM status, or call your operator. Locked phones cannot install a Vibqo eSIM, and we'll refund an uninstalled plan if that's the case.
