Installing your Spain eSIM
- Buy and check your email. Your QR code and a manual activation code arrive within a minute. Check spam if not.
- Scan on Wi-Fi at home. iPhone: Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIM. Android: Settings → Network → SIMs → Add eSIM. Label it "Vibqo Spain".
- Leave it off until you land. Keep your Irish SIM as the default for calls. On arrival, turn on the Vibqo line, set it as the mobile-data line, and enable Data Roaming for it.

Which network does the Spain eSIM use?
It connects to Movistar and Orange, with automatic fallback to Vodafone where available. Expect 4G LTE / 5G wherever the network provides it.
I'm on an Irish plan. Do I need an eSIM for Spain?
Spain is inside the EU roaming zone, so bill-pay plans usually include your domestic allowance. An eSIM makes sense if your plan has a low fair-use cap, you're on a prepay bundle with limited roaming data, you're sharing a hotspot with family, or you're travelling from outside the EU. Check your plan's roaming page first; we'd rather you didn't buy what you don't need.
When does the 7-day or 30-day validity start?

Can I use the hotspot in Spain?
Yes. Tethering to a laptop, tablet or a travel companion's phone is allowed on every plan.
Can I make calls or send texts?
Plans are data-only. Use WhatsApp, FaceTime or Signal for calls. Your Irish number keeps receiving calls and texts on your physical SIM.
Can I top up if I run out?
